        เมื่อวันที่ ๒๗ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๙ นายเยฟกินี โทมิคิน เอกอัครราชทูตสหพันธรัฐรัสเซียประจำประเทศไทย พร้อมคณะ เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ พลเอก ชัยพฤกษ์ ด้วงประพัฒน์ เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ณ สำนักงานสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ทำเนียบรัฐบาล ทั้งนี้ ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนในประเด็นความมั่นคงที่สำคัญหลากหลายประการ โดยเฉพาะการเตรียมการจัดประชุมคณะทำงานร่วมว่าด้วยการหารือด้านความมั่นคงไทย-รัสเซีย (Thailand – Russian Joint Working Group on Security Consultations: JWG-SC) ครั้งที่ ๘ ณ กรุงเทพฯ โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อรับมือกับภัยคุกคามข้ามชาติรูปแบบใหม่ และเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างสองประเทศให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น
        On October 27, 2026, H.E. Mr. Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, accompanied by his delegation, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Gen. Chaipruak Doungprapat, Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand, at the Office of the National Security Council, the Government House of Thailand. On this occasion, both sides discussed and exchanged views on a wide range of important security issues, in particular the preparation for the 8th Thailand–Russia Joint Working Group on Security Consultations (JWG-SC) to be held in Bangkok, with the aim of addressing emerging transnational threats and strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.
