เมื่อวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2569 นายฉัตรชัย บางชวด เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ได้หารือกับนาย Jeong Yeondoo ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ฝ่ายยุทธศาสตร์ทางการทูตและการข่าว (Vice Minister for Strategy and Intelligence) กระทรวงการต่างประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี
การหารือครอบคลุมประเด็นด้านความมั่นคงที่สำคัญและอยู่ในความสนใจร่วมกัน โดยเฉพาะการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์บนคาบสมุทรเกาหลี ตลอดจนแนวนโยบายและประสบการณ์ของไทยในการบริหารจัดการชายแดนกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน
การหารือดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นในโอกาสที่เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติและคณะเดินทางเยือนสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ระหว่างวันที่ 9 – 11 กันยายน 2569 เพื่อหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสารเชิงยุทธศาสตร์กับหน่วยงานด้านความมั่นคงของสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี อันเป็นการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหน่วยงานของทั้งสองประเทศ
On 10 September 2026, Mr. Chatchai Bangchaud, Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand (NSC), met with Mr. Jeong Yeondoo, Vice Minister for Strategy and Intelligence at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of the Republic of Korea.
The two officials discussed key security issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on the situation in the Korean Peninsula, as well as Thailand’s policies and experiences in managing its borders with neighbouring countries.
The meeting took place during the visit of the Secretary-General and his delegation to the Republic of Korea from 9 – 11 September 2026, with the objectives of exchanging strategic insights with relevant South Korean counterparts, which will contribute to the strengthening of security cooperation and institutional relations between the two countries.
