เมื่อวันที่ ๓๐ กรกฎาคม ๒๕๖๘ นายฉัตรชัย บางชวด เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ เป็นประธานร่วมฝ่ายไทยในการประชุมคณะกรรมการด้านความมั่นคงและการทหาร ครั้งที่ ๒ ภายใต้สภาความร่วมมือซาอุดี – ไทย (Saudi – Thai Coordination Council: STCC) ผ่านระบบวิดีโอการประชุมทางไกล โดยมีเจ้าชาย ดร. อับดุลอาซิซ บิน มูฮัมหมัด บิน อัยยาฟ รักษาการรองปลัดกระทรวงมหาดไทยแห่งราชอาณาจักรซาอุดีอาระเบีย เป็นประธานร่วมฝ่ายซาอุดีอาระเบีย พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนระดับสูงของทั้งสองประเทศเข้าร่วมประชุมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
การประชุมครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันของทั้งสองประเทศในการเสริมสร้างและสานต่อความร่วมมือทวิภาคีด้านความมั่นคง การทหารและการป้องกันประเทศ โดยมีผลลัพธ์สำคัญ เช่น การเห็นชอบร่วมกันในการดำเนินการตามข้อริเริ่มความร่วมมือ (Initiative Cards) การเห็นชอบในบันทึกผลการประชุม ตลอดจนการจัดทำความร่วมมือฉบับใหม่ในประเด็นที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นว่ามีประโยชน์ร่วมกัน
The 2nd Security and Military Committee Meeting of the Saudi – Thai Coordination Council (STCC)
On 30 July 2025, Mr. Chatchai Bangchaud, Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand, co-chaired the 2nd Security and Military Committee Meeting of the Saudi – Thai Coordination Council (STCC) via video conference with His Highness Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed Bin Ayyaf, Acting Deputy Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Meeting was attended by senior representatives from both countries.
เมื่อวันที่ ๑ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๘ นางอันนา ฮัมมาร์เกรน เอกอัครราชทูตสวีเดนประจำประเทศไทย พร้อมคณะได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนายฉัตรชัย บางชวด เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ณ อาคารสำนักงานสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ทำเนียบรัฐบาล ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและความคิดเห็นในประเด็นความมั่นคง อาทิ ความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค สถานการณ์ความขัดแย้งชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา สถานการณ์ในเมียนมา อาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างไทยและสวีเดนในห้วงถัดไป
On August 1, 2025, H.E. Mrs. Anna Hammargren, Swedish Ambassador to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Chatchai Bangchaud, Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand, at the Office of the National Security Council, the Government House of Thailand. On this occasion, both sides exchanged information and views on several security topics, such as regional security, the Thai – Cambodia border situation, Myanmar situation, transnational crimes, and future security cooperation between Thailand and Sweden.
