เมื่อวันที่ ๑๓ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๙ นางลุยซา ราแกร์ (H.E. Ms. Luisa Ragher) เอกอัครราชทูตสหภาพยุโรปประจำประเทศไทย ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและหารือข้อราชการกับเลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนหารือในประเด็นความมั่นคงที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ สถานการณ์ความมั่นคงในภูมิภาคความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างไทยและสหภาพยุโรป อาชญากรรมออนไลน์ ความมั่นคงในพื้นที่จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ และนโยบายควบคุมการส่งออก ทั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะส่งเสริมและกระชับความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะภายใต้โครงการ ESIWA+ ซึ่ง สมช. เป็นหน่วยประสานงานหลักของไทย ตลอดจนจะมีการหารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดตั้งกลไกหารือด้านความมั่นคงระดับยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างกันต่อไป
On 13 February 2026, H.E. Ms. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on the Secretary-General of the National Security Council of Thailand, to discuss official matters on the occasion of assuming office in Thailand.
Both sides discussed key security issues, including regional security, EU-Thailand cooperation in the field of security, online scams, situation in the southern border provinces and the export control policies. Moreover, the two sides agreed to promote and strengthen security cooperation, particularly under the EU-initiated ESIWA+ project, for which the Office of the National Security Council serves as Thailand’s primary coordinating agency. Furthermore, it is agreed that the possibility of establishing a strategic-level security dialogue between Thailand – EU will also be explored in the near future.
