        เมื่อวันที่ ๕ มีนาคม ๒๕๖๙ นายสรพงศ์ ศรียานงค์ รองเลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ได้ต้อนรับ ดร.ซิลเวีย ซาโลกิ (H.E. Ms. Szilvia Szalóki) เอกอัครราชทูตฮังการีประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสการเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและหารือข้อราชการเกี่ยวกับประเด็นความมั่นคงที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ ความท้าทายด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์และภูมิเศรษฐศาสตร์ในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก สถานการณ์ในเมียนมา สถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา และความท้าทายที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นจากปัญหาการหลอกลวงออนไลน์และอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ
        นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แสดงความสนใจในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างกัน และเห็นพ้องที่จะเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างประเทศไทยและฮังการีให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น
        On 5 March 2026, Mr.Sorapong Sriyanong, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council, welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Dr. Szilvia Szalóki, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand, and had a discussion on key security issues including: challenges arising from global political and economic changes, the situation in Myanmar, the Thailand – Cambodia border situation and the growing challenges of online scams and transnational crime.
        In addition, both sides expressed interest in enhancing security cooperation and agreed to further strengthen security cooperation between Hungary and Thailand.
