เมื่อวันที่ ๒๘ เมษายน ๒๕๖๙ นายฉัตรชัย บางชวด เลขาธิการสภาความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ ได้ให้การต้อนรับ นายชาน ชุน ซิง (H.E. Mr. Chan Chun Sing) รัฐมนตรีประสานงานด้านบริการภาครัฐ และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม สาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและหารือข้อราชการ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือและแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองต่อสถานการณ์ความตึงเครียดทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ และผลกระทบต่อภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงประเด็นความมั่นคงอื่น ๆ ที่มีความสนใจร่วมกัน อาทิ ความมั่นคงทางทะเล ความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ ความมั่นคงชายแดน ความมั่นคงทางพลังงาน และการปกป้องโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่สำคัญ
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างประเทศไทยและสิงคโปร์ให้แน่นแฟ้นยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งในระดับทวิภาคีและพหุภาคี เพื่อร่วมธำรงเสถียรภาพของทั้งสองประเทศและของภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
On 28 April 2026, Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Secretary-General of the National Security Council, welcomed H.E. Mr. Chan Chun Sing, Coordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence of the Republic of Singapore, on the occasion of his courtesy call and official discussions. Both sides exchanged views on geopolitical tensions and their implications for Southeast Asia, as well as other security issues of mutual interest, including maritime security, cybersecurity, border security, energy security, and the protection of critical infrastructure.
Both sides also agreed to further strengthen security cooperation between Thailand and Singapore at both bilateral and multilateral levels, to sustain long-term stability in both countries and the region.
