1. Set direction, provide advice and recommend national security policies, strategies, guidelines and plans in consistence with current and future situations and changes.
2. Administer, coordinate, monitor and evaluate implementation to drive security policies, strategies and plans to achieve concrete implementation.
3. Evaluate strategic security situations, and prepare the country to manage and respond to national security threats and crises.
4. Develop and disseminate security knowledge, and strengthen cooperation networks with all sectors.
5. Develop efficiency and enhance competencies of the organization and personnel to become experts and professionals to be the main security organization.
